Biography

Ashleigh Rainer was born in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia. She was a natural performer as a child and excelled in music (singing) and drama studies during her high-school years that followed. After graduating, she auditioned for the American Musical and Dramatic Arts (AMDA) school in New York/ Los Angeles and was awarded a scholarship to study acting for film. Although she was disheartened to not be able to attend at the time, she continued to devote herself to her craft and began performing in musicals and plays at her local community arts theatre.
It was in 2014 that she landed her first professional role playing the character of 'Clara Salope,' a lead role in the David Williamson smash-hit comedy play, "Managing Carmen" which featured in the Noosa Long Weekend Arts Festival that year. Wanting to expand her horizons, Ashleigh moved into film and TV; Her most recent credit being "DUO", playing the lead role of Jade.
Ashleigh also fronts the 'Molly Frockers' rock band as their quirky, powerhouse lead singer.
